VERP 1 – Protocol Signatory
By becoming a VERP1 Protocol Signatory a business will be listed on the FEX Climate website as giving in-principle support for the FEX Climate objectives.
VERP 1 Members will not be required to undertake any specific GHG emissions-related activities however VERP 1 Membership allows businesses to
- publicly acknowledge their interest in issues of GHG emissions and climate change
- access a range of information and directory services provided through FEX and FEXClimate
Subscription to FEX Climate helps business decision makers to:
- Sort through the climate change minefield to understand how to measure, verify and avoid, reduce or offset their climate impacts at their own pace
- Realise the value of their carbon and environmental assets
- Increase the transparency of previous carbon and environmental trades, including historic trades if applicable,
- Access the tools, knowledge and resources to translate sustainability and carbon management strategies into practical actions and outcomes
- Demonstrate to stakeholders that the management team understands how to rationally and comprehensively respond to climate change and other environmental issues
